Home WiFi, Dragons, and Ben Folds
I'm a little drunk with power, wandering around the house and being on the internet no matter what part I'm in. That's right, I got Airport Extreme-- hey lookit, out in the driveway and I'm still on the internet!
Also neat: the cable company is trying to get me hooked by giving us a few months of actual channels beyond public access ones. So last night I saw the Dragons special on Animal Planet that imagines dragons as having existed, naturally to trick you into learning about real animals along the way. They do good hypothesizing, and I like the solution of having them create and store hydrogen. Little did the knights realize, they could have exploded the dragons if they'd fought them the right way.
And you trusted me when I said to get Ben Folds' production of William Shatner, so trust me now when I say go to iTunes and buy his cover of Dr. Dre's "Bitches Ain't Shit". There's a link directly from his site, just look for this li'l image...

How I'll Arrive At Comicon
I've got to check in on Futurismic more often. I'm not big on cutting down trees, but if you gotta do it, it should be done by this thing!

No Long Beach For Me. But...Boom! Brain!
I've almost paddled my way up to the surface, I can see your murky formless shapes on the other side. That's me with all the bubbles erupting from my mouth, throw a line damn it!
Had I been regularly posting the last couple of weeks, I would have mentioned that my pal Ross Ritchie has bisected from Dave Elliot and Atomeka Press and formed Boom Studios, so we should be watching these comics closely. I love, love and love that logo for Zombie Tales.
Also, my other pal (I have but two) Rick Remender is drawing the first comics work written by Bruce Campbell, and here's a big fat article about it at Comic Book Resources. Make Mine Screaming Brain.
I'll also be adding more blog links soon. I hope you Californians have a good time in Wizard World LA, but I won't because I'm Not Going. Just can't lose five days at the moment, you understand. I hear next year it's actually going to be in Los Angeles rather than Long Beach, but I can't imagine what venue. The downtown convention center?

Hahn Dynasty: Amazing
Hey my studio buddy David Hahn has just launched a new website, www.hahndynasty.com. You'll be wanting to bookmark that and watch it grow. Dave also appears to be talking to THE PULSE today, so you can read that and get in on some sweet message board action too.
I'm almost out from under my heaviest deadlines, so start thinking about checking back in here, too.
